Celebrating Ten Years
WELCOMING AND OPEN CONGREGATIONS
The churches listed in our Welcoming and Open Congregations database are Church of England congregations where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered Christians can be guaranteed a welcome. The congregations listed have discussed their desire to express support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered Christians at a Parochial Church Council meeting and have passed a PCC resolution agreeing to be listed. Changing Attitude makes no charge for registering a congregation as Welcoming and Open.
Brochure
The 2008 Changing Attitude Welcoming and Open Congregations brochure is now available, in full colour and considerably expanded from the first edition. It provides a congregation and PCC with the material needed to address the issues affecting the full inclusion of LGBT people in a congregation.
To download the brochure, please click on one of the following links; there are two versions, basic (single pages in numerical order) and imposed (two pages per sheet, designed for printing double-sided and folding to form a booklet).

Registering as a Welcoming and Open Congregation
At present, there are 25 churches in our database. If your church would like to be listed, please register on this site (asking to become a Welcoming Congregation administrator), and then click here for the Welcoming and Open Congregation Registration Form. (If you have not already logged in, you will be asked to do so.)
