Wednesday, 12 November 2008

by Colin Coward

Changing Attitude Manchester

The Revd Michael Kimindu, newly appointed as Changing Attitude’s contact person in Kenya, spoke at a meeting of the Manchester Changing Attitude group in Manchester Cathedral library on Monday 10 November.

Michael was in the UK to attend a Metropolitan Community Church conference in Birmingham. The Manchester meeting was also attended by Steve Parelli, the Executive Director of Other Sheep Ministries which networks with gay Christians in East Africa.

Michael told to the group his life story as a Christian, and the events in his life that drew him to a ministry of counselling with lesbian and gay Christians in Kenya. Michael’s story has been told elsewhere on the CA web site.
