Report on contents of syringe used in attack on Davis Mac-IyallaSunday, 20 April 2008
The result of the analysis of the contents of the syringe with which an assailant attempted to attack Davis Mac-Iyalla, Director of Changing Attitude Nigeria, on Sunday 30 March 2008 has now been delivered to him. A scan of the report is posted below, together with an English translation. The report says the substance was suspected as being poisonous and had been abandoned by a criminal in a poisoning attempt. The police reported to Davis Mac-Iyalla that they had tested for heroin and cocaine. The chromatographic test proved negative for drugs. The report concludes that the test for drugs was negative. It does not come to a conclusion about the possibility of the substance being a poison. IDENTIFICATION ANALYSIS: The identification analysis of the liquid contained in the 10cc syringe, of the sample numbered 150/08, by our chromatographic methods is negative.
