GENERAL SYNOD

The General Synod is the national assembly of the Church of England and consists of three houses, Bishops, Clergy and Laity. Each Synod is elected for five years, the current Synod having been elected in October 2005. The General Synod meets in February in London and in July in York. If needed, there is a third meeting in London in November. Changing Attitude has supporters and patrons who are members of General Synod.

Changing Attitude has maintained a presence at General Synod since 1987, building relationships with Synod members on all sides of the argument and gently seeking to inform and bring personal experience to bear. Changing Attitude also has a display stand at each Synod meeting, presenting our work and our vision for the Church.
