ABOUT CHANGING ATTITUDE

Who we are

Changing Attitude England

Changing Attitude England, founded in 1995, is a network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual members of the Church of England.

We welcome as members everyone whose concern is to work for change in the church’s understanding of human sexuality.

We have a growing network of active diocesan groups meeting and holding events in 23 dioceses (as of July 2008). There are also 15 other dioceses in which there is a Changing Attitude contact.

Changing Attitude international

Changing Attitude England has grown into an international network of over 1000 people, including supporters in Wales, Scotland, other European countries, New Zealand, Australia, USA, Canada, Brazil, Nigeria and Uganda.

There are Changing Attitude networks in Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Nigeria and Scotland. For fuller details of Changing Attitude international, see www.changingattitude.org.

Our goal …

… is to reach the day when the Anglican Church fully accepts, welcomes and offers equality of opportunity to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people.
